About the Team

We are a professional bunch at Sol Ambiance. Our team has been carefully handpicked to reflect both a flair for design as well as superior technical floristry skills. Sol Ambiance’s team members are all graduates or students of the City College of San Francisco’s prestigious retail floristry program. Or they have at least three years of professional design experience. While our delightful crew are passionate about flowers and the beauty they bring to people’s lives, they’ve also been chosen for their inclusiveness and caring souls. It’s one of the reasons why Sol Ambiance has such a loyal following of customers.

About the Owner

Oxana graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. But when she moved to San Francisco, like so many who came before her, she was inspired by the city to follow her passion. Oxana found a job at a local flower shop and began studying floristry at the City College of San Francisco. While a student, Oxana won several awards from the American Institute of Floral Designers for her creative and inspiring designs. This recognition led to opportunities for freelance work with notable Bay Area floral designers. Working under these mentors, Oxana gained valuable experience creating arrangements for a variety of clients, weddings, and events. After honing her skills and mastering her craft, Oxana purchased the original shop where she first started as a florist. Since then, she and the Sol Ambiance team have transformed it into a unique neighborhood treasure that brings smiles and beauty to our community.

Araceli Farms

Araceli Farms is a six-acre sustainable lavender farm located on the outskirts of Dixon, CA. Owned and operated by women of color, their naturally grown lavender produces some of the most heavenly bath and body products we’ve ever found.

Lit Rituals’s organic wax candles use only the finest essential oils and body safe fragrances, as well as wooden wicks made from recycled wood. Many of the elements in their wands and other products are organic and locally sourced around the SF Bay Area.
